Enabling new activities on the ground, these new projects will be implemented in European Outermost regions in Amazonia, Caribbean, Macaronesia and the Indian Ocean. For a duration of up to 14 months and a maximum budget of 50 000€, these projects will focus on conservation and restoration actions as well as on education and awareness raising activities, contributing to the conservation of the ORs‘unique biodiversity and to the sustainable use of valuable ecosystem services.

New calls will be organised this year (third quarter 2020) for the Outermost Regions as well as for the Overseas Countries and Territories. In light of the pandemic, these future calls will have adapted modalities to support actors and provide effective means for actions on the ground at local and regional level.
