Aban Marker Kabraji, IUCN Asia Regional Director and Director of the IUCN Regional Hub for Asia-Oceania, has recently been featured in the Pakistani magazine ‘Newsline’. In her interview with Afia Salam, Ms Kabraji discusses how she felt about receiving the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz (Medal of Excellence) - an honour of the State of Pakistan that is awarded for the highest degree of service to the state, and for services to international diplomacy -  and the state of environmental awareness in Pakistan.
