Sahjeevan

Sahjeevan is currently working on environmental conservation with special focus on pastoral communities like Banni breeders’ association, camel breeders’ association, sheep and goat herders, decentralized biodiversity conservation and management, grassland conservation and environment education. Besides these, Sahjeevan has being working on decentralized drinking water security and urban environmental conservation and solid waste management. Conservation of animal genetic resources particularly indigenous breeds, participatory conservation & management of natural resources and involvement of women's participation are important objectives of Sahjeevan. Sahjeevan has long histrory to work with communities and atleast more than 200 villages and 50,000 stakeholders are being directly beneficiated and are involving sustainable utilization and conservation of natural resources.
