The Guapiaçu Ecological Reserve (REGUA) is a registered Brazilian environmental NGO, located in Guapiaçu, Cachoeiras de Macacu, just 100km from Rio de Janeiro city. Established in 2001, and located within a global biodiversity hotspot, the Atlantic Rainforest, REGUA is committed to providing a protected area for its biodiversity through a range of integrated programmes.
