Regional Centre for Development Cooperation

Established in 1993 RCDC has emerged as a reputed resource organization of eastern India working on both conventional issues like rights and sustainable management of resources and emerging issues like climate change, CDM, and REDD+, etc.. We have simultaenous activities on research & documentation, advocacy, and field implementations. RCDC is a member of the International Union of Forest Research Organizations(IUFRO). It is also a partner of the Ecosystem Alliance programme supported partly by IUCN-Netherlands.RCDC was represented in the Planning Commission of India's subgroup on NTFP for the 12th 5-year Plan, and its outstanding publications are hailed both locally and nationally.
