A non-governmental, non-profit research, implementing and policy institute established in 1986. It works on the issues of natural resource management through community participation, good governance, poverty alleviation and economic growth as approaches for addressing sustainable development. Over the years it has emerged as a leading research and policy institute in Bangladesh at the local, national, regional and global level.
