AWAZ Foundation Pakistan: Center for Development Services

AWAZ is the largest national non-for-Profit NGO in terms of its outreach in South Punjab, employing more than 150 professionals, the majority of which are women and reaches more than 0.5 million people directly with development interventions in 15 Districts of South Punjab whereas advocacy outreach of AWAZ is whole Pakistan. Today, AWAZ’s mobilized communities (200 Vaseb Development Organizations and 53 People’s Awareness and Rights Committees) are its real asset and these skilled volunteers are not only taking self-help development initiatives, but also leading a range of Foundation’s core programmes in the field of economic and social development, natural resource management, health, education, human rights, legal services, agricultural and rural income diversification , climate Change and Food Security .. AWAZ enjoys special consultative status of UN-ECOSOC and also certified from Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy. AWAZ has been leading Global Call to Action against Poverty (GCAP) in Pakistan.
