Recovery of Species on the Brink of Extinction - Requests for Proposals

IUCN Species Survival Commission (SSC) in partnership with National Geographic Society (NGS) and Fondation Segré promote this Request for Proposals (RFP) with the aim to halt further biodiversity decline by implementing IUCN SSC Species Conservation Plans for species and groups of species.

All SSC Groups can participate submitting their project proposals. This grant will support on the ground priorities expressed on IUCN SSC Species Conservation Plans, as well as conservation actions that are endorsed by the relevant IUCN SSC Species Specialist Group.


This grant runs in a semestral basis with applications opening again shortly after each deadline.

2019 GRANT CYCLES:

Applications accepted through April 10.

Decisions in August.

Applications accepted through October 9.

Decisions in February 2020.
