From sustainable to regenerative mining:
Mining needs to pay more attention to regeneration over sustainability. Solar PV, wind, batteries, or hydrogen are sustainable but neither regenerative nor social. If we want to deliver a better world to future generations, it is not enough to be sustainable; we must be socially regenerative. Mining needs Regenerative Bioeconomy (Nature-based Solutions and regenerative Agriculture). Social myopia must be overcome.
