IUCN launches call for proposals for the preparation of the GEF-funded ‘The Restoration Initiative (TRI)’ child project in Myanmar

IUCN has launched a call for proposals for the preparation of the GEF-funded ‘The Restoration Initiative (TRI)’ child project in Myanmar. Approved by the Global Environment Facility (GEF) Council in July 2016, the project will be implemented by GEF Partner Agency, IUCN.

The overall TRI Programme goal is to contribute to the restoration and maintenance of critical landscapes to provide global environmental benefits and enhanced resilient economic development and livelihoods, in support of the Bonn Challenge.

IUCN will be awarding a contract to lead the Project Preparation process resulting in the production and approval of a GEF Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Endorsement Request and a full IUCN Project Document for the TRI Myanmar child project. The Consultancy Team will be required to work according to the detailed requirements specified in the Request for Proposals.

The deadline for submission of proposals is Tuesday 27 September 2016 at 17:00 ICT (Indochina Time). Proposers are required to submit their proposals to Angela Joehl Cadena.
