Holcim, the world’s third largest cement producer, has a plant in Kien Giang where it quarries limestone hills that are characterized by high levels of plant and animal endemism. The video produced by David Without Borders describes the environmental impacts and the measures that Holcim, in cooperation with IUCN, the Center for Biodiversity and Development in HCMC, provincial authorities, and other partners, are taking to address these impacts through an innovative biodiversity offset program.
