We need your story: IUCN projects on international TV

An independent TV producer will be making one-minute videos of projects in Europe, Africa and Asia. Commission members, as part of the IUCN family, are asked to send descriptions of interesting projects for filming.

The producer is looking to film IUCN projects for a series of one-minute videos on sustainable development. The videos will appear on two of France’s biggest national TV stations (France 2 and France 3). The best clips will also be translated into English and broadcast by international TV channels.

What we’re looking for are dynamic projects from within the IUCN family. These projects should not be afraid of getting their feet dirty, providing a visually interesting story for the camera. They should also clearly showcase how sustainable development is bringing tangible benefits to local people.

We are particularly interested in projects that bring about positive change for the environment and local communities.

For now we are restricted to stories in Europe, Africa and Asia but projects from other parts of the world may also be considered for the later edition of the series.
