Water for nature, water for people

Water, biodiversity and livelihoods are directly linked and we cannot look at them separately. Dr Emmanuel Mwendera, Water Programme Coordinator from IUCN’s Eastern and Southern Africa Regional Office, explains how IUCN is working to make sure that water resources are managed in a sustainable manner – both for the benefit of the environment and for the benefit of local communities.
