Spanish E-Learning Channel interviews CEC Member Frits Hesselink

This 21-minute video on climate change is part of a course on sustainable development. The video, Verdades y mentiras sobre el cambio climatico, was produced by UNED, the Spanish Distance Education Channel. It includes an interview with CEC Special Advisor Frits Hesselink.

Frits Hesselink, CEC Special Advisor, talks about behaviour change and climate change

“Behaviour change can immediately start from action,” Frits explains in his video interview, updating long-held ideas about the need for knowledge, first, to influence attitudes, second, to inspire action, third. Awareness is important, he notes, but it is also important to look at how our brain works when we take decisions, especially in light of the risks perceived in daily life, whether from unemployment or from climate change.
