Protected Areas Law Capacity Building Teachers & Trainers Workshop at Wuhan University

 In cooperation with the Research Institute of Environmental Law (RIEL) at Wuhan University, the IUCN Environmental Law Centre (ELC), IUCN World Commission on Environmental Law (WCEL) and IUCN Academy of Environmental Law offered a workshop for law teachers and trainers in the Asian region as a part of the new Protected Areas Law Capacity Building Initiative. The intention of the workshop that ran from 23-27 November at Wuhan University was to present participants to protected areas law resources and a guide for use in different  teaching and training circumstances.

With participation from all over the region, the Wuhan workshop training was a success! On behalf of the IUCN World Commission on Environmental Law, we would like to thank the members that participated in this workshop, and we look forward to further growing and strengthening the community of teachers and trainers in protected areas law.
