CONSERVATION CAMPUS: Learn how to train businesses on ecosystems

  • TIME: 09:00 - 13:00
  • ROOM: Crystal Ballroom 2 - Lotte Hotel

Designed specifically for business, this programme incorporates World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) methodologies, materials and tools that have been developed over 10 years and information from other institutions. The development of the BET course was assisted by Member Company, KPMG and a network of global companies, environmental NGOs, the United Nations and academic and environmental institutions including IUCN. BET is freely available on the WBCSD website and is suitable for a wide range of stakeholders.

The Conservation Campus session will introduce BET beyond WBCSD’s membership and encourage a wider range of stakeholders to use this programme in their businesses and with their partners. It will help participants acquire the knowledge needed to plan and customize BET training sessions for their business. Participants will work on exercises drawn from BET modules which will help them understand how BET is structured, how it works and how it can be delivered and tailored for specific sessions.
