IUCN Asia has prepared a planner comprising a list of events that highlight conservation topics Asia deals with on a daily basis. Organised by IUCN Secretariat Staff, Members, and Commission Members, these events give governments, civil society, public, private and non-governmental organisations the opportunity to come together and engage in discussion, with the aim of advancing the conservation agenda in the region.

Some of the key events to look out for include A Changing Climate: Championing Nature-Based Solutions, featuring speakers Tom Friedman, foreign affairs columnist and author, and Patricia Espinosa, Executive Secretary of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, as well as Conservation 2.0: Empowering Next Generations, featuring presenters Jane Goodall, founder of Jane Goodall Institute and Alison Sudal, musician, actress and Goodwill Ambassador for IUCN.

For full list of Congress events relevant to Asia, refer to the 'Conservation in Asia' journey planner, which can be found under Downloads on the right-hand side of this page.
