Aumentar la capacidad para le establecimiento y gestión de estas notables áreas.

Varias Corrientes de Talleres van a tratar temas relativos al Patrimonio Mundial.

Habrá sesiones específicas centradas en los siguientes temas:

Haciendo uso de la Convención sobre PM para motivar mayor apoyo a las AP;

Evaluación de la efectividad de la Convención sobre PM y gestión de los sitios de PM;

Considerando los vacíos en el sistema global de AP a través de la Convención de PM;

Consideración de los temas relacionados al Patrimonio Mundial que son específicos a África;

Construir sobre la experiencia de financiación para la conservación de los sitios de Patrimonio Mundial.
