Outputs of the Congress
This section contains a breakdown of the programme per day, details of the workshops, side events and short courses. It also provides information about the exhibition, the field trips and pre / post congress tours.
This is where new documents are posted and news disseminated. As well it host the daily coverage of the congress events and gives useful updates in the build up to the WPC. It includes links to the PARKS newsletter and a section for the Media, covering press releases, media briefs and details of media accreditation

UNF World Heritage Projects Knowledge Gathering Workshop - UNF / IUCN / UNESCO

This workshop will assess the programmatic effectiveness of UNF World Heritage projects as well as collect and analyse specific information on the correlation between the achievements of UNF funded projects and the expected outcomes of the UNF “Biodiversity Framework”. It aims at capturing the lessons learnt from the experience on World Heritage biodiversity conservation accumulated by UNF funded projects in World Heritage sites.

This side-event is a joint initiative between the Bureau of the Ramsar Convention and WWF International. It is intended to be a high profile occasion with an Opening speech by Chief Emeka Anyaoku, WWF President and a statement from Dr. Peter Bridgewater, Secretary General of the Ramsar Convention. It will assess progress in Ramsar site designations undertaken with the support of WWF/Living Waters & Ramsar Convention Bureau globally. A special recognition of the significant achievements made by the Ramsar Contracting Parties will be made.
