The Nature Conservancy.
This course will provide participants with hands-on training in
a series of conservation finance mechanism tools including screening
viable mechanisms, park entrance fees, carbon offsets, debt-for-nature
swaps, and conservation trust funds. Participants will learn how
to determine the feasibility of implementing a particular mechanism,
organize information, and make financial projections under varying
assumptions.

Due
to cost and logistical limitations short courses will
be conducted in English only. Numbers of participants
who can be accommodated on these courses will also be
limited and allocated on a first come first served
basis.
