Durban, South Africa, 14 September 2003 (IUCN) - The Durban Accord and Action Plan, the main documents coming out of the V World Park Congress are produced through an open process and are led by a Task Group with representatives from different countries and constituencies worldwide. As this process is now coming to a conclusion, delegates have an opportunity to incorporate their comments and views. There have been three ways in which participants have contributed to the Durban Action Plan: by making comments in the workshops or converging those to in the drop-in sessions. Additionally, delegates are invited to participate in sessions on specific issues, which already include interest groups such as Indigenous Peoples, youth, mining sector and Global Environment Facility.(...)
