Results of this seminar that discussed the
possibilities for the further conservation
and protection of East Asia's grasslands,
as part of IUCN's August East Asia Steering
Committee meeting. The report addresses: the
condition of temperate grasslands globally;
the relative significance of those found in
Mongolia; the existing protected areas in
Mongolia; constraints and opportunities associated
with grassland conservation; and priorities
for the future conservation and protection
of Mongolian grasslands.
