38 ecological network initiatives that are
currently being developed or implemented.
It includes an inventory of a wide range of

from the regional to intercontinental and
summary findings on the main features of the
initiatives. The report is intended as a contribution
to IUCN's review of experience in developing
and applying ecological networks that was
initiated through Resolution 1.38 of the 1996
