Sturgeon research activities at the International Sturgeon Research Institute
Several research projects are being conducted at the International Sturgeon Research Institute to address different issues related to sturgeon biology, breeding and conservation. The main projects are:
- Sturgeon stock assessment in the Caspian Sea.
- Molecular genetic analysis of sturgeon stocks in the Caspian Sea
- Evaluation of sturgeon fingerling release using tagging methods
- Sturgeon population structure in the shallow waters of the Iranian coastline of the Caspian Sea
