How to apply for a grant from the Peter Scott Fund

The small grants programme welcomes applications for any project that is likely to improve the conservation status of selected species or group of species. Preference will be given to projects that have been identified as a high priority in Action Plans, to projects that may be difficult to fund through other sources and to projects that address donor interests.

 

The Sir Peter Scott Fund is not currently open for applications. Details of the next deadline will be anounced here.

Eligibility: Grants are only available to SSC members and all applications must include a letter of endorsement from at least one SSC Specialist Group Chair. Only one proposal from each Specialist Group may be submitted in each funding round.

Application guidelines: The maximum value of the grants is 24,000 Swiss Francs (15000 Euros) over a period of 18 months. The budget should be submitted in Swiss Francs. An application form is available here in word which can be edited electronically. Completed forms should not exceed three sides in length (excluding the budget) and can be emailed to peterscottfund@iucn.org or sent to:
