Why contribute to the Sir Peter Scott Fund?

The Red Book: The Extinction Crisis Face to FaceBy contributing to the Sir Peter Scott Fund you will be promoting on-the-ground action aimed at saving the Earth's full suite of plants and animals by leveraging the skill and expertise of the world's foremost network of species conservationists.

You will support a network of people who all work towards the same goal, most of the time voluntarily, showing extraordinary dedication and commitment.

Through the Peter Scott Fund you have the chance to make a concrete contribution to meeting the global goal of reducing biodiversity loss by 2010.

SSC welcomes contributions from individuals and organisations and is particularly keen to form partnerships to help raise funds. Donations made from the United States are tax deductible.

In 2001, The Red Book: The Extinction Crisis Face to Face was published as a dramatic tool to help communicate the issues surrounding extinction and conservation to broad audiences. Packed with stunning images, It has proved extremely popular, and half of the proceeds for every book sold are being put into the Sir Peter Scott Fund. Order a copy through the IUCN Bookstore: www.iucn.org/bookstore
