In keeping with the mission of the IUCN Environmental Law Programme, the ELP participates in the continuing development of environmental law and policy and in building capacity for effective implementation, enforcement and governance. While the ELP has made notable contributions to environmental law and policy in the past , the ELP unceasingly takes on this challenge. This section provides information and updates on developments in environmental law and policy in which the ELP has, and continues, to actively participate. It will continue to be developed over time.
