Announcement of successful applications for turtle conservation volunteer programme in Con Dao National Park
IUCN Viet Nam has received over 1,100 applications for its Marine Turtle Conservation volunteer programme. This is very encouraging as it means that an increasing number of youths are becoming interested in environmental protection programmes.

The facilities at the marine turtle conservation stations in Con Dao, Viet Nam can only accommodate a small group of volunteers. This being the case, IUCN could only select 36 applicatants to participate in the programme, which will run from July to August 2016.
IUCN thanks all applicants for their interest, and encourages conservation enthusiasts to participate in upcoming programmes in Quang Ninh, Vui Chua and Hon Cau and other coastal provinces throughout the country.
