Celebrating World
Wetlands Day 2004:
An event took place at Haleji Lake, one of Pakistan’s
nineteen Ramsar Wetland Sites of International Importance to
celebrate World Wetlands Day. The event was jointly organized
by the IUCN Sindh Programme, WWF
and Sindh Wildlife department. Wetlands of
Pakistan website was also launched at the event.
