Mainstreaming Biodiversity Conservation into Production Systems in the Juniper Forest Ecosystem Balochistan aims to make production activities in the Juniper forest ecosystem biodiversity friendly. The UNDP/GEF funded project in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Environment and Government of Balochistan will focus on reducing the negative impacts of livestock grazing and energy production, while exploring opportunities for biodiversity benefits from sustainable tourism, controlled hunting and watershed and ecosystem.
PROJECT MANAGER: (Re-advertisement)
The incumbent will be responsible to lead the project for achieving the goals and outcomes of the project.
MONITORING & EVALUATION OFFICER:
The incumbent will be responsible to develop and implement an institutional strengthening program and monitoring and evaluation system for the project.
COMMUNICATION OFFICER:
The incumbent will be responsible to develop in consultation, a Program and Corporate Communication Strategy for the project; and take the lead in implementing it with the guidance and support from the Education, Communication & Knowledge Management Group at the Country Office.
GENDER SPECIALIST:
The incumbent will be responsible for effective implementation of the gender component of the project
FINANCE OFFICER:
The incumbent will be responsible to deal with routine accounting matters of the project.
PROJECT SECRETARY:
The incumbent will be responsible to perform all administrative and secretarial functions of the project.
For all the positions candidates should be proficient in computers especially MS Office; well versed in written and spoken English and willing to travel in connection with project activities. Working knowledge of local languages and cultural context would be an advantage.
