Exposure Sharing Visit of district council members of district Gwadar

Gwadar, August 18: IUCNP's Gwadar office organized a meeting on 18 August 2004. The meeting was chaired by district Nazim Babu Gulab and attended by district Naib Nazim, Chairman Public Safety Commission and Union council Nazims.

The new developmental issues and their impacts on natural and human environment of the area were discussed in the meeting. The participants agreed that there is a need to create a neutral forum to discuss the issues of sustainable development, to create a better understanding among different sections of the society and to influence and advocate for ecologically and environmentally sustained planning. It was also agreed that the forum will be named Sustainable Development Forum of district Gwadar.
