Declamation contest on ‘Green Cities - Plan for the Planet’

Quetta, May 26: IUCNP’s Balochistan Programme Office in collaboration with Balochistan Environmental Protection Agency (BEPA) organized a declamation contest among the schools students on the theme .

Green Cities - Plan for the Planet in the office of Director General BEPA.

Students from the entire province were invited in the contest. The purpose of contest was to select two suitable students for declamation contest to be held on World Environment Day on June 5th at Islamabad. A jury of three members comprising Ghulam Rasool Jamali (Deputy Director EPA), Abdul Wajid Khan, Coordinator (EE&SC IUCNP) and Rumana Gul Kakar (lecturer Govt Girls College

Quetta) was formulated to select two best students (one girl, one boy) for the declamation contest in Islamabad.

During the contest, the students highlighted various environmental issues in their speeches and stressed the need for raising awareness regarding environment.
