Gwadar, May 23: World Turtle Day was celebrated at a local hotel by IUCNP’ District Office Gwadar. Thirty fishermen from District Gwadar and officials from different Govt. organization, who have direct or indirect link for conservation of endanger Marine Turtles on the coast of Balochistan, were invited for participation. District Officials from BCDA, GDA, RCDC and Balochistan Fisheries Department were also present.

Abdul Rahim, Assistant Coordinator, introduced IUCN while Attaullah, resource person from WWF Pakistan, spoke about World Turtle Day. He also showed a video made by WWF on Conservation of green turtles.
