The ranks of those facing extinction are joined by familiar species like the polar bear, hippopotamus and desert gazelles; together with ocean sharks, freshwater fish and Mediterranean flowers. Restoring Nairobi River ecosystems to provide clean water for Kenya's capital and second largest watershed

On their way through Kenya’s capital, the Nairobi rivers are being heavily polluted by industries, commerce, agriculture and household wastes.
