The Temperate and Boreal (T&B) Forest Programme is part
of the general
Forest Conservation Programme (2005-2008)
The
Temperate and Boreal Forest Programme, housed
in IUCN-CIS Office in Russia (2005) has the mandate
to develop and implement a global programme for the conservation
and sustainable management of temperate and boreal forests,
built around three themes: policy analysis and input, information
gathering and sharing, and facilitating stakeholder involvement
in forest management decision making.
