avec l'Agence spatiale canadienne

ACTIVITIES in Mozambique:

September field trip: Chucri Sayegh met the Mozambique partners for the first time. He was accompanied by Tom Hammond and Gartner Lee experts: Matthew Wood and Greg Wickware.
The project is progressing and will have an impact in Mozambique. Partners are enthusiastic.

The project will help put in place a Decision Support System relative to drought and flood monitoring and response in the Limpopo basin. RADAR Sat imagery will represent a main source of information for improving existing hydrological models as well as increasing the effectiveness of the web based DSS application. More details coming soon.

June field trip:
The first field visit for Tom Hammond of IUCN-Canada and Greg Wickware from Gartner Lee in June 2006 was a success.
