Les parties de la CITES ont décidé lors de leur 16ème Conférence qui s’est déroulée à Bangkok du 03 au 14 mars, de mieux réglementer le commerce international du requin océanique (Carcharhinus longimanus), des trois espèces de requins-marteaux (Sphyrna lewini, S. mokarran, S. zygaena) du requin-taupe (Lamna nasus) ainsi que des deux espèces existantes de raies Manta (Manta birostris, Manta alfredi). Elles ont également voté l'interdiction du commerce international du poisson-scie (Pristis microdon) en transférant cette espèce de l’annexe II à l’annexe I. …
