Mura-Drava-Danube, a symbol of unity
The transboundary river ecosystem of the Danube, Drava and Mura Rivers forms 700 kilometers long “green belt” connecting more than 800,000 hectares of highly valuable natural and cultural landscapes in five countries: Austria, Slovenia, Hungary, Croatia, and Serbia. Once protected as a Transboundary UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, the “Mura-Drava-Danube” area shall become a symbol of unity for these countries. …
