Le représentant du Ministre de l’Environnement et de la Protection de la nature, M. AKWA Patrick (Secrétaire Général dudit Ministère) a officiellement installé les membres du Comité National des Membres de l’UICN le lundi 20 Juin 2011. Dans son allocution liminaire, il a magnifié la coopération entre l’UICN et le Cameroun, salué la contribution à la protection de la biodiversité que les membres apportent dans leurs programmes respectifs et a souhaité que la compétence des membres de l’UICN puisse également profiter au Gouvernement Camerounais.
