I’m pleased to let you know about a new resource for students, academics, and professionals of any discipline who need to learn more about the issues surrounding sustainable development in the Middle East. The resource is the online webpage for Carboun, an advocacy initiative to promote sustainability and environmental conservation in the Middle East. The website contains substantial information on energy, environment, and sustainable development issues in the contact of the Middle East with an emphasis on the built environment. It also contains many articles that analyze the state of sustainability in the region,and the challenges that surround sustainable development. The website can be found at http://www.carboun.com.

Carboun is also supported through a number of networking groups that can be found through the website's homepage or through Linkedin and Facebook.
