Mr Shamen Vidanage assumes responsibility as the Acting Country Representative of IUCN Sri Lanka Country Office with effect from April 2011.
Mr Vidanage has been with IUCN for nearly 10 years, While being charged with this task, he continues as the Programme Coordinator responsible for the entire Country Programme operations.
Mr Vidanage holds a MSc in Environmental Economics, MA in Economics and BSc in Agriculture. His entire professional career has been on natural resources management which includes senior positions held at Central Environmental Authority and National Aquatic Resources Research and Development Agency.






One of my friend from sweden has written to him & await a reply after few reminders. How can i congratulate this man when he can not at least reply an email??? such an irresponsible organization.
