The green online community for young people from IUCN, WWF and Nokia has awarded its Grand Prize to Nicolas Paez, a 19-year-old economics student from Columbia.
Nicolas wins a trip to Copenhagen for the United Nations conference on climate change 14 to 16 December, alongside the IUCN delegation. He will be participating in a number of IUCN and WWF activities and events and will report back to the connect2earth community on his experience there.
"I love to participate in connect2earth, a place where I can share with others my views and concerns for our planet and its people," Nicolas says. "I am excited to have been selected to go to Copenhagen. I hope I can help finding solutions that are good for the environment while addressing social issues."
The discussion on climate change goes on on connect2earth until the end of December.
