With just two more days to go before the Bangkok leg of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) wraps up, there’s a feeling of urgency in the air.
There are nearly 2,000 delegates from government, NGOs and civil society groups attending the meeting at the UN Convention Centre here in Thailand’s capital.
Many of these are keen to see a concrete move forward to reaching a meaningful agreement on climate change at the key UNFCCC summit in Copenhagen in December.
