New water project gives new hope to vulnerable people

A new water governance project for the Mesoamerica region was launched today in Cancun, Mexico, during the UN climate talks.
Rocío Córdoba, IUCN Mesoamerica Water Coordinator, explains why this project has the real potential to tackle the effects of increased number of extreme events in the region, while at the same time building the capacity of local people.
