IUCN Member Organisation pour l'Environnement et le Développement Durable (OPED) [Organization for the Environment and Sustainable Development] from Cameroon will present its activities undertaken with the African Development bank in the framework of the FFBC (Funds for the Forests of the Congo Basin). This presentation will focus on aspects of mangrove protection and alternative activities for improving the quality of life of women. OPED’s project was selected as one of the projects with proven results and as having a visible effect in the field.
