IUCN will have a stand in the Cancún Messe, Hall C. This is the main area for all the exhibitions, side events and cultural presentations.
IUCN Members are encouraged to pass by the IUCN stand (no 79 in the exhibition hall) to interact with colleagues from the Secretariat who aim to be present at the stand as often as possible despite the distance from the main conference venue for meetings, media and services, the Moon Palace Hotel.
IUCN Member the Canadian Wildlife Federation will give a presentation on their water public education programme at Klimoforum.

IUCN Member Organisation pour l'Environnement et le Développement Durable (OPED) [Organization for the Environment and Sustainable Development] from Cameroon will present its activities undertaken with the African Development bank in the framework of the FFBC (Funds for the Forests of the Congo Basin). This presentation will focus on aspects of mangrove protection and alternative activities for improving the quality of life of women. OPED’s project was selected as one of the projects with proven results and as having a visible effect in the field.
