Post-2010 Strategy: from challenges to compromises

Tomorrow 20 May the IUCN Spanish National Committee will host the VII Foro de Biodiversidad which will focus on the post-2010 strategy for biodiversity and the challenges Spain and the European Union will face in view of the 10th Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity in Nagoya (Japan).

This edition of the Foro is one of the numerous activities taking place in Malaga during the International Year of Biodiversity. The Forum will be attended by the IUCN Centre for Mediterranean Cooperation, the Municipality of Malaga, the Council of Malaga and Nepresso. Spanish representatives of IUCN Commissions (WCPA, CEC, SSC and others) will also bring their expertise to the event’s discussions.

The event will take place at the Museum of Municipal Heritage of Malaga and the Provincial Council of Malaga. For more information see www.uicn.es.
