UICN estrecha lazos con Honduras al firmar acuerdo de cooperación

Con el fin de apoyar los esfuerzos de conservación  y la búsqueda de soluciones naturales, la Unión Internacional para la Conservación de la Naturaleza (UICN) firmó un acuerdo de cooperación con el gobierno de Honduras este 10 de setiembre en la sede del Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores de Honduras. El acuerdo lo suscribieron la Directora Regional de la UICN para México, América Central y el Caribe (ORMACC), Dra. Grettel Aguilar Rojas y el Subsecretario de Relaciones Exteriores y Cooperación Internacional de Honduras, Roberto Ochoa Madrid, en un acto en el que estuvieron presentes también el Ministro de MiAmbiente, José Antonio Galdámes  y otros funcionarios del gobierno hondureño y organizaciones ambientales y de desarrollo con las que trabaja la UICN en Honduras.  …

Astonished and amazed, students from the Black River School in the Cahuita district, canton of Talamanca, spent a morning trapping fish and other animals in nets as a way of studying the biodiversity and health of Patiño River.
