The most inspiring efforts for sustainability in ecologically fragile mountainous regions in the twenty - first century is generating educational infrastructures for the remote areas populations which makes them aware of the threats to the environment. This is very easy now, with the help of technology. We can do a lot more than what was possible ten years ago. Today technology has reached as far as moon. Educating the remote civilizations can be one big step towards sustaining the ecology and environment of the planet.
Conservation and environment organizations need to put more emphasis on educating the remote population regarding the laws of today’s world. Organizations need to help communities develop an economic status and provide information on the realities of big cities and the job situation so that they can experience the new world with a open mind. Only the environmental conservation community can make efforts like these since they are the only ones which really can do something for the remote communities without ignoring the fact that the remote communities are lagging far behind just normal standards of life.
