In addition to the challenges listed by Mr. Jeffrey Mcneely one of the important challenge for the sustainability in the 21st centuary will be the global peace. Modern hightech wars are posing and will pose serious impacts on conservation and sustainable services of ecosystems.
Shift in energy resources (Biofuels) as mentioned in the report will be another important issue which will compete and effect the food chain of the ecosystem. |
