Crocodiles are one of thousands of species whose trade is regulated by the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES), which has just had its 15th meeting of the Conference of the Parties in Doha, Qatar. Graham Webb is Chair of the IUCN/SSC Crocodile Specialist Group.Based in Australia’s Northern Territory, he has worked with crocodiles for nearly 40 years and has been a key player in bringing back croc numbers across the world. He explains to WildTalk why the Australian model for crocs is one the world should watch.
